Being connected to Daemon Black sucks…
Daemon’s determined to prove what he feels for me is more than a product of our bizarre connection. I’ve sworn him off even though he’s running more hot than cold these days. But against all common sense, I’m falling for him. Hard.
Our relationship issues aren’t out biggest problem…
The Department of Defense is here. If they ever find out what Daemon can do and that we’re linked, I’m a goner. So is he. And when a new boy shows up a school with a secret of his own, things get complicated fast. I need to choose between my own instincts and Daemon’s.
But then everything changes…
I’ve seen someone who shouldn’t be alive. Daemon’s never going to stop searching until gets the truth. What happened to his brother? Who betrayed him? And what does the DOD want from them—from me?
No one is who they seem. And not everyone will survive the lies. (Summary by Goodreads)
The sequel to Obsidian, I know quite a few people have listed this as their Waiting for Wednesday and I have to jump on the bandwagon. I am crazy excited about this book. Strong female lead, great writing, and aliens! Awesome.
Onyx comes out May 15th.
Really need to read the first in this series sometime! Love Jennifer's other series and look forward to her new one later this year. This does sound pretty awesome!

I haven't read the first one in this series yet - I had gotten it through NetGalley, but it expired before I got a chance to read it. :( But your enthusiasm for the series makes me want to go pick it up now!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love your WoW graphic!
I was able to get it for my Kindle app pretty cheaply, I definitely recommend it! I wish I could tell you where we got our graphic from, Arianna found it. I'll have to ask her. Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteGraphic comes from The Violet Hour.

Anna thanks for stopping by our blog-- I read your review for the first book of this series and you convinced me! I am going to have to read these :-)
ReplyDeleteHaven't read the first one, but I've heard good things. I really don't like that cover at all though, needs some updating I think!
ReplyDelete- Jessica @ Book Sake
I have to agree that the covers are over the top, the Katy character seems to pose abit like a prostitute. The content makes up for it though.
DeleteI need to start this series, I have heard such great things about Jennifer Armentrout and her work. :)
